Dr Basudev Pokhrel is one of the leading Oncologists in India. Currently, Dr Basudev is serving as a Consultant – Hematology & Bone Marrow Transplant at the Citizens Specialty Hospital, Hyderabad.

He is an alumnus of the Institute of Medicine, Maharajgunj Campus (Tribhuvan University, Nepal), where he completed his MBBS. Dr Basudev pursued his MD from the prestigious Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) in Puducherry, India. Further enhancing his expertise, he completed a Fellowship in Clinical Hematology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, India, where he also served as an Assistant Professor in Clinical Hematology.

Before his current role, Dr Basudev worked as a Consultant Hematologist at ESIC Medical College, Sanath Nagar, Hyderabad, India. His extensive experience and specialized training make him a prominent figure in the field of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation.
