Dr. Kavitha Gone

Dr Kavitha Gone is one of the reputed kidney specialists in Hyderabad. With over 20 years of national and international experience, Dr Kavitha Gone is recognized for her expertise in managing complex kidney conditions. She has extensive clinical experience in the evaluation and management of Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), and End-Stage Renal Failure (ESRF). She is currently serving as a Senior Consultant - Nephrology and Transplant Physician at Citizens Specialty Hospital, Nallagandla, Hyderabad.

A graduate of Osmania Medical College, Dr Kavitha pursued her advanced medical and nephrology training in the United Kingdom, where she gained rich exposure to dialysis procedures, renal transplantation, and intensive care nephrology. She has also independently performed procedures such as tunneled and non-tunneled line insertions and renal biopsies (native and transplant).

Dr Kavitha is also passionate about teaching and mentorship, having trained undergraduate and postgraduate medical students as well as nephrology trainees in the UK.

A Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and MRCP Examiner, Dr Kavitha is an active member of several professional societies, including the Indian Society of Nephrology, International Society of Nephrology, and the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation.
