Dr Muralidhar Joshi is one of the top Pain Medicine & Anesthesia Specialists in India. He has over 27 years of experience in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine department. He is working as a Group Head for Pain Medicine and Senior Consultant Anaesthesia at Citizens Specialty Hospital, Hyderabad.

Dr Joshi authored the first pain management textbook in India in 2004, which is currently in its third edition. In addition, he has been the editor-in-chief of six textbooks on pain management therapies, so far. He has served as an examiner, teacher, and guide for the Indian Society for the Study of Pain.

Dr Joshi is also a member of various prestigious professional societies across the globe. He has been on board as an author, editor, and reviewer for both Indian and International journals and textbooks. He has given innumerable presentations and guest lectures at various international and national events. He regularly conducts hands-on workshops on interventional pain management for both live patients and cadavers.
