Anti-aging

Skin aging is a complex phenomenon affected by external and internal factors. The skin undergoes progressive changes with age, resulting in wrinkles, fine lines, and dull, saggy skin. Several options are available to reduce the appearance of age-induced changes on the skin.

Our Offerings

  • Chemical Peels: They are also known as derma peeling or chemexfoliation. The procedure involves the application of a solution to the skin that removes the upper layer of the skin. The new skin that grows is relatively smoother and younger. Chemical peeling aims to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. It also fades acne scars, skin imperfections, and uneven skin coloring.
  • Microneedling: It is a minimally invasive procedure to improve skin appearance by stimulating collagen production. It is also called collagen induction therapy. The dermatologist uses sterilized micro-needles to puncture the skin. As the skin heals, there is an improvement in its elasticity and a reduction in fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.
  • Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP): PRP is also known as the vampire facial. It involves taking the person’s blood separating the solution containing a high concentration of platelets through centrifugation, and injecting the platelet-concentrated solution into the facial skin with microneedles. The benefits of PRP therapy include reduced acne scars, improved complexion, increased facial skin volume, and reduced wrinkles.
  • Skin Tightening: As the person ages, the production of natural substances, such as elastin and collagen decreases, resulting in reduced skin elasticity. Several treatments are available to firm sagging skin. These include radiofrequency, intense pulsed light, and ultrasound therapy. Laser resurfacing is another treatment for skin tightening.
  • Wrinkle Reduction: Wrinkles occur because of reduced skin elasticity due to aging. The other causes of premature wrinkles include radiation exposure, repeated facial expressions, and smoking. The treatments for wrinkles include medications, such as wrinkle creams, and surgical procedures, such as dermabrasion, Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and laser resurfacing.
  • Botox/Fillers: Botox and dermal fillers are used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Both are injected into the facial skin. Botox paralyzes the facial muscles, while fillers provide fullness to the areas with wrinkles.
